We will meet with local legislators on August 10, 2024, from 10 am-12 pm at Franklin Woods Community Hospital in the Summit Room. We will talk about Workplace Violence and other hot topics relevant to the nursing profession. A light breakfast will be served.
This meeting will be held in person only. We hope to see you there!

Nominations are now closed for the 2024 TNA District 5 Nurse of the Year.
Each year our district honors an outstanding nurse who embodies excellence in the nursing profession. Nurses who have made a difference can be nominated by their peers for a variety of reasons and may include nurses in the following roles: Clinical, Administrative, Education, Non-Traditional Role, APRN. The nurse of the year is someone who represents nursing values such as compassion, kindness, knowledge, ethics, and innovation.
Candidates must meet two criteria:
1. Registered nurse or APRN
2. Must live and/or practice within the TNA District 5 twelve-county service area (Carter, Cocke, Grainger, Greene, Hamblen, Hancock, Hawkins, Jefferson, Johnson, Sullivan, Unicoi, and Washington counties)
