District 5 General Membership Meeting! We will hear from two presenters, each of which represents a unique nurse-led community service organization. Kristi Bode will present on behalf of No One Dies Alone, a volunteer group that provides a compassionate, caring presence for patients who are dying alone or whose families are in need of respite. The Appalachian Highlands Nurses Honor Guard will be represented by Amy Hopson. This group pays tribute to nurses after death by performing the Nightingale Tribute at funerals and memorial services. We highly encourage you to join us to hear more about these wonderful organizations and find out how YOU can get involved!
